Hifab

Project Overview
HIFAB Aluminium Pvt. Ltd. is an established architectural façade and fenestration company with more than 30 years of industry experience. The company designs, manufactures and installs advanced systems including unitized and semi-unitized façades, curtain walls, spider glazing, aluminium doors and windows, cladding systems and other architectural solutions for major residential, commercial and institutional projects.
HIFAB’s product ecosystem also extends through The Window Factory (TWF), its premium retail venture for high-end aluminium doors and windows. Current product families span Glide sliding systems, Awning systems, Screens, Skye, Indoors, Balustrades, Curtain Walls, Façades and Outdoor Retreat solutions.
For the packaging project, the objective was to translate HIFAB’s positioning around engineering precision, sophisticated architecture and premium manufacturing into a consistent physical brand experience. The packaging needed to feel appropriate for a technical architectural company while remaining clear enough for products, components and system-related materials to be identified efficiently across manufacturing, distribution and project environments.
The Challenge
HIFAB operates in a highly technical category where products differ significantly in system type, dimensions, performance capabilities and applications. Individual solutions can carry detailed information related to profile type, glass thickness, sash weight, automation, thermal performance, sound reduction and configuration, meaning the packaging system needed to organise technical information without looking excessively industrial or cluttered. For example, the MONO 25 system alone communicates specifications such as height, sash weight, interlock width, glass thickness and acoustic performance.
The second challenge was preserving HIFAB’s premium architectural positioning. The brand explicitly describes its creative direction as minimalistic, sophisticated and restrained, with inspiration from architecture and design publications rather than conventional industrial advertising. Packaging therefore needed to reflect that same discipline—clean, precise and premium—while still fulfilling practical identification and handling requirements.
The final challenge was scalability. HIFAB’s ecosystem covers a wide variety of façade, window, door and architectural systems, so designing every pack independently would quickly create inconsistency. The client needed a flexible master system capable of extending across different product families while maintaining immediate HIFAB recognition.

Our Solution
We developed a minimal and architecture-led packaging language that reflects HIFAB’s emphasis on precision and engineering. The brand identity was given a disciplined visual position, supported by restrained typography, structured spacing and clean information zones. This allowed the packaging to feel aligned with premium architectural products rather than adopting the visually busy language often associated with conventional industrial packaging.
A modular information hierarchy was created to separate brand, product/system name, series identification and technical information. This gives individual product families enough distinction while retaining one consistent HIFAB framework. Where different series or system types require differentiation, the structure allows controlled colour or graphic cues to change without disturbing the overall brand architecture.
The final direction was designed with long-term scalability in mind. As HIFAB introduces new window systems, façade technologies and architectural products, the same packaging principles can be extended across future applications. The result is a packaging system that works as both a functional product-identification tool and a premium physical expression of the HIFAB brand.
